星戰三部曲會有一位新的大壞蛋、名叫:

G r i e v o u s  將 軍

今天，在Amazon.com刊登了將於2004年4月推出、由Elizabeth Hand所作的星戰兒童讀本Boba Fett #5- A New Threat、

封面有Grievous將軍的圖像。

在EP2內, 我們看到前絕地 Count Dooku 是分離份子的首領及複製人戰爭的煽動者;

在EP3內, 我們會看到 General Grievous 是所有分離份子軍隊的總將軍, 他一半是異形一半是機械人,

他是軍事強人及單對單絕地殺手

在Clone Wars卡通第20集最終回中(於4月8日播映), 一群絕地武士被一個新的無法破壞的敵人幹掉, 在該集最尾部份,

眾絕地及觀眾均會明白 General Grievous 的力量有多強 ...

 

Lucas Art在遊戲-Republic Commando的新聞稿上，首次官方證實General Grievous與他的致命保鏢會出現在三部曲中

The game features more than fifteen levels, with exercises covering both familiar and new Star Wars settings and characters, including the introduction of the mysterious General Grievous and his deadly bodyguards from the upcoming Star Wars: Episode III.

 

官網從Boba Fett #5- A New Threat中節錄了一段有關General Grievous的詳細形容、茲節錄原文如下:

I should have killed him! Boba thought angrily. Now he's betrayed me again! He began to ease himself from the shadows. One hand remained firmly on his blaster. The other was on his belt, ready to draw whatever weapon he might need.

But as Boba looked up, he realized he'd be needing all of them. Because into the room strode the most terrible, vicious figure he had ever seen.

Its head nearly touched the ceiling -- a head composed of interlocking bands of an alloy he'd never seen before. A pale, cowled robe cloaked its body. Through its folds Boba glimpsed its true form: gleaming metallic limbs, six-fingered hands like robotic claws. When it turned its head, searching, Boba saw its eyes.

Golden reptilian eyes, the pupil a black slash, set within blood-colored sockets. Even Mazariyan's tentacles seemed to sense his awful threat. They retracted into the heart, like a carnivorous snail into its shell, waiting.

Boba's blood froze. Suddenly, and with horrible certainty, he knew he was looking upon the most powerful, most lethal threat he had ever faced.

官網超空間提供了第三部EP3製作影片觀看, 探討特技巧果監督Dave Young所負責的特技效果部份, 在影片內可以看到:

 

- anakin及obi被困的水中環境的波浪是以在池中兩邊的夾板前後移動所做出來的

(據insider #73圖片註釋, 這環境是一個被水浸沒的貿易聯盟船鑑的機房)

- bail organa的1:1戰機模型以不同油壓支架在其底部控製其飛行動作, 可以向前後左右各傾60度

- obi-wan騎在一道具動物背部上(藍幕), 由3名工作人員以3個轉盤控製該"生物"的各個動作

- 3個人手握著上方的東西, 腳站在一條幼幼的條子上, 條子突然爆破拆斷....(如沒看錯, 應該是anakin, obi-wan及palpatine)

- 一個外貌屬正方體的組景, 該組景會像摩天輪一樣360度旋轉

- 一條長長的藍幕走廊上會有很多距離相約的小洞口噴出白色的煙來, 做成蒸汽及熱的效果, 再配以大型風扇, anakin與obi就在上面進行激烈的光劍對決
